One day per year, Red Gum Studios in Anaheim, opens it's “Car stage", studio to enthusiasts who share the expense of a profession automotive photo shoot.
Dividing the cost among 10-20 car owners makes an exquisite studio image of their cars available at a fraction of the usual cost.
There is no obligation to participate

Studio rental cost, Experienced Car Photographer fee, lighting tech fee, professional retouching, and one “High Dynamic Range” image on a USB drive
Exquisite framed prints are available in various sizes at additional cost.

Lead by retired Car photographer Don Dormeyer with his 50 years of studio experience, any participating photographers will have shot automotive assignments right here at Red Gum Studios. Photographers shoot Car Ads, Car brochures, from new vehicle prototypes and exotics, to off-road racers for leading magazine editorials. Don’s images for Lexus have been seen around the world on international billboards. So whatever type of vehicles you or your club have, you are assured of a talented photographer with extensive professional experience.
TECH SPEC:
Cars are photographed in profile or 7/8 view using the same high-end 50MP cameras used for carmaker's prototypes.
The Images are processed in HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE to show exquisite detail in bright highlights and deep shadows. Far beyond the range or ordinary digital images.
Print option:
Printed on heavy weight fine art paper using an eleven-color printer (vs typical 4 color printing) then placed in a 36”x24” black museum frame, ready for wall display

Twice each year, Red Gum Creative Campus opens its studios to select Photographers and Collector Car Owners to make exquisite wall photographs of their cars at a fraction of the normal cost.
By grouping the shoot session with many cars and working on a weekend when the studio is normally dormant, the photographer can offer High-end photography at an affordable price.
Photographer Don Dormeyer’s passion project is to create a library of custom, and collector car images while providing their owners with a low cost, extremely high quality framed fine art, wall print.
The fantastic facilities his of Red Gum Studios, Don’s techniques, work-flow, High Dynamic Range Photography, and Fine Art Printing, enables him to produces the studio session from the car entering the studio to a 36x24 framed fine art wall print.
